Maybe if you held onto the side and got used to moving your legs to propel yourself forward?

Isn't it normal to take small steps when learning? There's nothing wrong with it.

[Akihiko looks towards the side, a few yards away from where he is right now. He sighs]

Mind getting me there in the first place?

[He could get there! It just would take real long]

[Looks at her totally normal shoes and starts walking to get to Akihiko, who's stranded himself.

She'll offer a hand to get him back over.]

[Akihiko grabs the hand, and pretty much will allow himself to be dragged to safety!]

Perhaps this is why these went out of style. I hadn't ever seen a pair of these before today.

Hmm... I haven't seen them either, but there's so many different planets out there.

[Akihiko grabs onto the side of the rink and pretty much goes around giving himself some impulse by coasting along the very edge of the rink, trying to get used to the movement]

Actual planets? As in, huge balls of land and all that?
