Week 3 -- Monday

[Woah, funhouse of mirrors, funhouse of memories. Probably unsurprising that, at some point, Firefly and Akihiko end up here. It's Akihiko's time to unveil things he had planned to keep quiet about.

Watch a memory! Akihiko lets it happen, watching everything with a bit of a complicated expression. Once it's over, he sighs]

Feels like it was so long ago, even though it was less than a year ago.

A year can go very quickly. Especially when there's something you're all working towards.

[ziosar]

I guess that's true. And then when there's something you're dreading, it feels like it arrives faster than it should.

[Time feels weird like that]

Time is hard to keep track of, isn't it?

[ziosar]

It is! It didn't help days for us were 25 hours long. That can really skew your perception of time at first, especially since you know almost nobody else feels the same thing...

[It’s like you have a different reality nobody can understand. Also, I'm pretty sure being constantly awake past midnight when you have to wake up early for school must really tire you up! No wonder the player character felt sick so often in the original release]

Did you rest enough? If you were busy during this whole extra hour?

[ She knows people need to get enough sleep, but she wonders if anybody was getting close to enough with this Dark Hour business. ]

[ziosar]

Hardly. But people get used to all kinds of situations.

[He powered through it through sheer force of will! And caffeine, probably]

[fightolive]

Please take better care of your body.

[ziosar]

I feel I keep saying things that make you worry about that.

[He's not doing that on purpose, haha]

[fightolive]

Maybe... your life is just a little worrying?

[Sir, the horrible food you consume...]

[ziosar]

Was it? I had it under control. It was all fine!

[...'fine' under the circumstances. That's an important caveat]

Your version of "fine" and my version of "fine" seem a little different...

[ziosar]

Then you might be glad to hear that, if I go back, I'll do all I can to make it be closer to your version of 'fine'.

[Since the Dark Hour would be gone, Akihiko wouldn't have to endure rancid gravy or midnight adventures anymore]

Just make sure to take care of yourself going forward.

[He only has one body. Best to take care of it.]

I will. I don't plan on coming back to heaven for a long time, especially due to health reasons.
